Question to Internet connection


IPA-200/VS-101NA is explained, "You raise a receiver and the input and transmission of a telephone of a button to a partner's IP address are possible. " But I don't understand the method of investigating a partner's IP address.
You need know partners IP beforehand.
If a partner's IP is known beforehand, you can input IP and can telephone.


Is not it able to connect if each other is not a global address?
The telephone call between a global address becomes fundamental. Yet, a telephone call may be possible if it is the following combination.
  1. A telephone call is possible if it is local in the same network. (Use like a home line)
  2. Connection is possible when passing global from a local.
However, packet may not pass depending on a setup of F/W. Please be careful. Please ask about the setting of F/W to a network manager.
