WELL-BEING OF THE VESSELS

Vessels

The present state of the two quantum random vessels, A and B, copied every five minutes from the observations of LMR’s quantum randomness research (QRA).

QUALITY & ENTROPY

Quality of the vessels

Each minute, 1 MB is drawn from each vessel and checked by six tests. Entropy is the information carried by one byte; the ideal is 8 bits.

TAINT ANALYSIS

The taint test

Random data generated within one second of a cosmic-ray detection is “tainted”; the rest is “clean”. Six measures are compared between the two (Welch’s t-test). A p-value below 0.05 suggests a difference.

p-values of the six measures (both vessels)

Because six measures are tested at once, one may dip below 0.05 now and then even without a real difference.

Vessel BThe detector sits away from the vessel

The figures are copied automatically every five minutes from the records LMR’s quantum randomness research (QRA) keeps on its two quantum random number generators, rounded for display.
